Does Coffee scrub Get Rid Of Cellulite
Cellulite (dimpled or bumpy skin) effects so many of us and we have always been on the look out for solutions and remedies. A common question we get asked is does weight loss help cellulite, YES and NO!
If a person’s weight is above their recommended BMI and is overweight then weight loss can help the appearance of cellulite but if a person is at their ideal body weight then weight loss might not help.
So what else can help Cellulite? – Coffee Scrub!
Lets start with the facts Coffee scrub doesn’t fully get rid of cellulite, but they help reduce the appearance of cellulite when used regularly. Massaging the skin affected by cellulite with a scrub will remove dead skin cells and any impurities from the surface of the skin, which then enables the scrub to penetrate into deeper skin layers.
Adding coffee to the scrub improves the body scrubs effect on cellulite by:
– Removing excess moisture from the skin which tightens it, this then visibly reduces the cellulite dimples.
– The caffeine in the coffee helps dilates blood vessels and improves blood flow, which is a bonus as this helps combat fluid retention and cellulite formation.
– The antioxidant properties of the coffee also helps to fight free radicals and smooths the skin making it look nice and plump.
How To Use It
Coffee scrubs are used in the same manner as other scrubs. Get a handful of the scrub and apply it to any area affected by cellulite – this is usually the thighs or bunda (Buttocks in Portuguese) – then massage the area gently in a circular smooth motion. Usually this should take 1-3 minutes depending on how visible the cellulite is.
After scrubbing, rinse or use a wet towel to remove the coffee scrub from the skin, best with luke warm water as using a high or low temperature water can make the skin feel uncomfortable, as its just been exfoliated!
How Often Should I Use It
We would recommend using this at least once a week but can be used every time you shower as using it more regularly will have better results!
